Day 1: Welcome to Uganda
The Pearl of Africa! And Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park Embark on a scenic drive to Murchison Falls National Park. En route, experience the vibrant local life and encounter rhinos at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Enjoy a guided walk among these magnificent creatures. Proceed to the park, witness the top of the falls, and check into Paraa Safari Lodge, Nile Breeze Bamboo Safari Lodge, or Redchilli Rest Camp.
Day 2: Murchison Falls National Park
Explore the wonders of Murchison Falls National Park with an early morning game drive. Witness the diversity of wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, and lions. After lunch, experience the power and beauty of the Nile on a 3-hour boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. Return for a relaxing evening at your lodge.
Day 3: Game Drive, Nature Walk, and Relaxation
Start your day with another exciting game drive to spot more wildlife in the park. In the afternoon, venture on a nature walk or simply relax, taking in the beauty of the surroundings. Enjoy a tranquil evening at your lodge.
Day 4: Transfer to Kibale National Park
Bid farewell to Murchison Falls and journey to Kibale National Park. Marvel at the breathtaking views of the Blue Mountains and Lake Albert. Arrive in Fort Portal; check in at Mountains of the Moon Hotel, Dutchess, Rwenzori View Guest House, or Traveller’s Inn Fort Portal, and Silver Oak Hotel.
Day 5: Chimp Tracking & Cultural Tour
Embark on an unforgettable chimp tracking adventure in Kibale National Park. Immerse yourself in the local culture with visits to native doctors, wise elders, and primary schools. Return to your accommodation for a restful evening.
Day 6: Crater Lakes Tour & Queen Elizabeth National Park
Explore the picturesque Crater Lakes of Kasenda, soaking in the stunning scenery. Continue your journey to Queen Elizabeth National Park, passing through Kasese and the Rwenzori Mountains. Check into Mweya Safari Lodge, Dave the Cave Safari Lodge, Bush Lodge, or Uganda Wildlife Authority Accommodation.
Day 7: Queen Elizabeth National Park
Embark on an early morning game drive to witness the majesty of the big cats in action. Later, enjoy a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, observing hippos, crocodiles, and a myriad of birdlife. Conclude the day with an evening game drive, capturing the beauty of the park.
Day 8: Transfer to Bwindi Gorillas National Park
Journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, arriving by evening. Check into Engagi Lodge, Haven Lodge, or Buhoma Community Rest Camp.
Day 9: Tracking the Mountain Gorillas
Embark on an early morning adventure to track the magnificent mountain gorillas of Bwindi National Park. Spend intimate moments with these gentle giants, creating memories that will last a lifetime. Relax at your chosen lodge in the evening.
Day 10: Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
Proceed to the serene Lake Bunyonyi, surrounded by lush hills. Explore the neighboring islands, visit the pygmy village, or engage in water activities. Check into Bird’s Nest, Arcadia Cottages, Paradise Eco Lodge, or Overland Resort for a peaceful evening.
Day 11: Lake Mburo National Park
Head to Lake Mburo National Park for an exciting game drive and a boat cruise on the lake. Immerse yourself in the diverse wildlife and landscapes. Overnight at Mihingo Lodge, Rwakobo Rock, or Skyblue Motel.
Day 12: Departure
Bid farewell to the enchanting beauty of Uganda. Stop at the Uganda Equator for lunch and souvenir shopping before proceeding to Entebbe International Airport for your homeward flight. This concludes your remarkable safari with Uganda Wildlife Scene Safaris.
